Bamboos collection
Bamboos with colorful birds are among the most commonly paintings performed by artists in asian cultures.
Traditionally the artist uses his/her own seals or chops (印鑑), often carved from jade, and a red paste (朱砂) to stamp and identify the her/his paintings. Often these type of bamboos' painting also show an auspicious poem, phrase or word in traditional chinese script.
Materials: "chinese inks" applied over "xuanzhi" paper, commonly known as rice paper.
Technique: traditional eastern brush painting.
